I wish Pongal time would be all the time as Chennai is so quiet, it is a pleasure to cycle in the streets.
From the past 3 days I have not written, I keep on practising dance with Lavanya, jatiswaram and tillana and some jatis that means I mixed sometime all the choreographies! We decided today to focus on tillana and not trying to learn new item. With Murielle we had also a class with Sangeeta who wanted to show her teaching to a French choreapher David Rolland went thrue an exchange delagation from Pays de la Loire to Tamil Nadu. We work on her slow padam where the heroin speaks to her friend about how she spent the night with Krishna. I had a lot of fun.
We attend some performances, the lovely Bregha Bessel and a couple disciples of CV Chandrashekar can't remember their names.
We have a lot of fun with Murielle, we went to a big global music festival with Sangeeta and Heero
The Chennai Global Music Festival, outdoor festival like La Route du Rock but with few people and no mud. We saw The Joint Family orchestra and Sapthaakshara with a swedish guitarist then had dinner in the huge small closed to the place (I hate, to crowdy, to noisy) and came back to see Vikku Vinayakram and Sapthaakshara. Then we danced in Rain Tree hotel that was nice!
About food, we eat to oily each time we go out so I try to have only idly or chapattis. Once with Sangeeta and Lavanya we went in a nice restaurant for lunch where they serve nice simply boiled vegetables and tofu. At home we simply cook vegetables with no oil, have fruits papaya, bananas, and sometimes strawberries that are very tasty. In the morning I have oats with soya milk dry fruits... Delicious!
